I just changed the plugs on a Kodiak 5.7 fuel injected engine. Now I have a miss at low rpm. Being a dumbass, I only pull one plug wire at a time so I don't screw it up. I've double checked and they all seem secure on the plugs. The only difference is I changed from the original ac delco plugs to E3. Could that be the problem? Also, does anybody know of a good marine mechanic in the Brooks/Calgary area? Thanks

First off you need a mechanic not a marine mechanic..jetboats motor and car motor same thing pretty much..chances are you may have cracked the porcelen on one of the plugs,100% of the time if you change something and it starts to miss, what you did caused the problem...go back to ac plugs if it wasnt missing before you changed plugs..my 2 cents....vinny

I've also had the problem of cracked spark plugs that don't "seem" to be bad but are. If in doubt, change all the spark plugs (wish all repairs could be that simple or cheap)

I also had once low rpm, and turned out to be a a faulty starter (believe it or not) that had a shortcircuit of sorts that affected ignition performance, so check for any possible shortcircuits on the boat.

Also, If you are using a MSD ignition, you can't use just ANY cable.
