When Scott Owen built it for me he said this unit will easily handle 2000+hp.If you were to run this on a marathon boat you should run a seperate oil cooler and pump for the reduction box, thats why we had him put the internal sprayer for the pinions.

I built the ford motor Im trying to sell on here as well as the gear box for the 2004 worlds but I couldnt finish it in time so Neil Ross and I raced in small block fx just to get out there , after the race I sold my boat and have had nothing to test it out in.If I remember correctly it was 30lbs with bellhousing. The unit is just a sun and planetary gear set up,it takes nothing to spin,it free wheels with a flick of your fingers.

I often thought something like this would be nice to have. I hope whoever buys it lets us all know how it works out. I'm interested but not sure if it would be worth while, and how much messing around I would have to do to fit it in there. so for 1 rev of the motor it turns the pump 1.25? so it can run with a oil level like a gear box and the sprayer is just for long running times?
