Hey I have a 350 in my boat but thinking about some more power, was wondering if anyone could put in they're opinion on either a Supercharger on the 350, or getting a 383 stroker. power wise, fuel consumption, install cost, and reliability between the two

Ok, if you went the blower method do you have enough hood clearance? What kind of fuel do you want to run? How much power are you talking. Pretty much the limit on a 92 octane 383 is 500 ftlbs of torque without spending crazy money. A 350 with a blower should be able to make 500 pretty easely on 92 octane. If you want to go blower go with a centrifical style for a jet boat. Run a intercooler even at low boost levels cause it will allow you to run less octane fuel and still make better power. Procharger and Vortech make great bolt on kits for carbed SBC. Oh and the big one HOW FAST DO WANT TO GO!

Kodiak has stopped building their 383 crate motor. They have released a fully marinized LS3 package which has 420 hp. Its a nice looking package.
