Yeah the carburetor on it right now (Demon 850) doesn't have a choke.
The boat bounces / porpoises up until about 38mph and then once above that speed its levels out and runs nice and flat.
I don't have any trim adjustability,.......Xerophobic do you have a picture or link of the setup you're running right now?

If it a tunnel then this is normal. Our boat does the samething until you get to around 40mph.

I may have a pic of the boat stuck that sorta shows it. Its really kinda a bastardized retarded setup at the moment. It was meant to just get me in the water but ended up staying on the boat all summer. It works but isn't pretty.
I used half the parts from a berkeley trim and just locked off the up/down swivel with a threaded rod bolted to a plate off the bowl bolts. a jamnut on each side of the plate holds the rod in a certain spot. I can loosen them and fine tune the angle in seconds but can't adjust while driving. Had intended to fabricate that but never got around to it and not sure how useful it would be really. Think I'd be better off fabricating a steel nozzle with a planing out tab. Mind you im using the tunnel more and more for stuff kinda out of its element so I dunno what would be best for me. I'll have to decide over winter haha

threaded rod is between the coolant hose and the reverse cable, its rusty so its hard to see lol.(didn't even bother with SS, didn't think it would be on there that long) It holds the stock berk trim arm in place.
The jetovator arm holds the sterring cable sorta like it does stock. Like I say it ain't pretty but it works!
I really wanted to make an override pedal for downtrim but just never got around to it. Go figure like 20 other projects.......

I don't have a Tunnel, I've got a Step-Tec, but I've run both set-ups and like the adjustable for playing around. In my opinion it's the only way to go. Laughing

Update: The boat runs fine now (we put the new starter on today) and we figured out why it died on us out on the lake Thursday, turns out my Dad forgot to tighten the distributor down (he had it loose so he could play with the timing some more on the trailer in the water). Good thing I let him do a little extra paddling that day Mad
