Can we put in the Bow at Fish Creek Park below the 22 x bridge or is that considered in the city limits?

Is there enough water downstream? I used to float it to Carsland in a canoe 20 years ago and had to drag the boat in some places. That was during the summer months though. It would be a nice trip.

Not enough water for that yet.

I cross the Red Deer on my way to Brooks and it's the same. I keep trying to convince myself it's deep enough, but the water's too cold to have to push. If you do get on the Bow, let me know. Someone on here I think has put in at Cochrane this year.

Yes, I believe a few have put in at Cochrane. "Deep Enough" is a relative term and I'm learning what my "Deep Enough" is with this new machine Laughing

If I get time I'll try and get to the Bow this weekend somewhere. Not so many hip-waders at Cochrane I'm thinking.

Can't launch there, put in at Carsland or Policemans Flats off Dunbow Road

or you can lauch at the morley bridge to get on the bow up from goast lake.
