Some pic's of a really great weekend.
We went 87 miles up the Brazeua to the falls. Had a great weekend of channel scouting and pushing. Yee Haa.

Holy cow, there's a lot of airspace under some of the boats . You definitely made some mileage in spite of the "grunt time" The Brazeau is one of my favorites for it's diversity and beauty .

I suppose this is just another typical weekend in your beautiful country,
I'm jealous. What a great looking river.
We finished harvest yesterday and have been shipping one to six semi's of seed daily. Planning on a river trip last week of the month, Snake/Salmon or down to Merv George's for a little skinny river running on the Trinity and the Klamath.
Cheers to all..

Hey where would a guy get himself one of those pry bars I seen in the first photo Do you guys make your own or do one of you make them for everyone. What else works good, maybe just a chunk of square tubing.

A friend of mine and fellow boater makes them out of scafold tubing and welds the ends shut so they float.
These are very strong and the only time I have seen them bend is when they were used to unstuck a very long and heavy ThunderJet

Don,
Launch on the Brazeau reservoir. Boat launch is a right turn after crossing the dam. Head across the lake and your into some great boating.
Seeing the falls is one of those places every river boater should have on their "list"
You can also run up the Blackstone, if the waters up.
