Congratulations to Gord Humphrey the 2010 Idaho Cup Champion by 7 seconds over second place Dale Whiteside. Dale made up 1 minute and 13 seconds on Sunday. Unlimiteds running once again on the Salmon!! It has been almost a decade since an Unlimited challenged the Salmon. Thanks and CONGRATULATIONS Canada.
More to come.......there were literally THOUSANDS of pictures taken-Pro(some here-

and Amateur, and they should be showing up soon. Chris from Raven Racing got some great helmet cam type footage too!
The standings for the rest of the pack
Third place was Labrum's (B boat)@58:56
Fourth was Duane Carmont (BBFX)@ 59:05
Fifth Jude & Clarence Hostler (BBFX)@ 1:01:33
Sixth Jesse LaForest (SBFX) @1:07:18
Seventh Terry O'Keefe (BBFX)@1:08:39
Eighth was Ryan Rogers (SJ) @ 1:12:39
Ninth was Ross ?????(can't remeber his last name, sorry-Guy Anderson Navigated for him) in an LS3 powered Burly hull @ 1:21:07
It was Ross's first encounter with Jet River Racing-
We all "voted" at the driver's meeting and ran OPEN (run what you brung and lump it all together)class-leg money only. Everyone started and finshed ALL LEGS! Never happened before for even ONE day of racing let alone 2...
Maybe some interesting water stats from the Salmon

Friday evening about 6pm the river had risen about an INCH
Saturday at 12:01am the flow had gone up to 5950 cfs and had risen 3”
Saturday at 10am race time the flow was at 6500cfs and had risen 3 more inches
Saturday when the legs were over the flow was at 7000cfs and had gone up 3” more. Total rise on Saturday was 9” and the flow had gone up by 1500cfs.
Sunday at race time (10am) the river had risen 9” from Saturday’s height and the flow was at 8830cfs. By the time we finished a little after noon the flow had gone up another 1” and flow was at 9000cfs.
Monday morning at about 8am the river has gone up another 8” overnight and was flowing at 10,500 cfs.
In about 72 hours the river has risen about 27” and the flow has more than doubled......

I'm hoping to have the first of a few videos from Riggins up by Friday evening. I have the rough copy completed but I need to put the engine sounds back in. I also put a few teaser onboard clips in the video too.
Chris.

We had another great time in Riggings, this little town just keeps getting better every time I go back. From the starters, flaggers, timers and safety boats, the bar tenders and waitress you all did a great job. I hope to see the BOHHICA crew the it 2011 to get there time record back, and all you Canadian racers need to look at this as a great warm up and shake down for our season.
Thanks to all that were involved in making this race possible. And to the photographers you guys and gals got some great shots. I haven’t seen any video yet, other than what Rich got from my boat. I’m glad the Raven crew got some shots.
Whitey

I received the following e-mail from Gordon Keyes. (He was one of the EMT's on the safety boats. High-Resolution photos!)
I had so many photos that I decided to create a gallery rather than just pick a few. So here's the link:
http://www.pbase.com/gbk/jetboats
Feel free to use any of these photos for personal use, if you want. I've also got the original files. Please forward this to anyone who might be interested. I wasn't able to get every racer's address at the award ceremony.
Thanks for coming to Riggins and thanks for the great show. I really hope to see you next year.
Gordon Keyes
