Tried a new river today and didn't have the best day out. few nagging technical issues which as I am sure you know make running a new river difficult at best. This was NOT a river to have to stop and and we had to a few times. Will be a very good river when the equiptment is cooperating and met a great guy who has a property there and said I can launch anytime
Few bad stucks and the day got worse as it went on. No damage just cold, wet and sore. Got only 4 mins of running on tape and alot of #$@ing around and pushing. Not the best day out but live and learn (tapes will be on the way soon Vince) I tell you that tunnel can take some serious hits
Cheers
(Vince I will have a package off to you shortly....) _________________ T-53 , why go up and down when you wanna go round and round???? |

How does that saying go? Even a bad day boating is better than a good day working?
Xero would you say that is true?
Xerophobic: bolding going (with a tunnel) were no man (in a tunnel) has gone before!
Have you heard the trick of using boat bumpers to roll the boat on, sorta like logs? Can't endorse it from experience but it always sounded like a good trick to me. _________________ -Jesse |

We use them here in New Zealand .. A type of Fender or the other we use is very thick PVC pipe ( Has to be think wall as the boat will brake them..).. Branch's work well to plus we use push polls ( Just used to jimmy at the back of the hull to push it forward.).. I will try to get a photo for you.. Hey James .. Go Hard dude.. Cheers JR |
