|
|
I picked up a kicker mount for my E5 at the sportsman show the other day with the intention of putting a 9.9 Merc Prokicker and Panther remote steer. Do you guys sling the fuel line and cables over the side or through a hole in the back? Same question for a fish finder transducer? What do you guys recommend? Any input is appreciated. THX

I think the low response rate to your question shows that very few of us have experience with kickers on our boats as most of us stick solely to the rivers where kickers can't be used.
I reccommend you give the guys at Outlaw Eagle a call, they're probably the best people to answer your question.

for my fishfinder i ran the wire through the hull and used a sealed grommet for oilfield use in explosive atmospheres.it goes around the cable and has rubber seals with threaded caps on both sides that seal against the wire and keep the water out.

ow, and forgot to mention; I ran my trans. using the same seal as tuchodi51 (just below the swim deck) and my fuel and wires for the charging system and panther are all on the transom. for the wires, I used a weatherproof stainless four terminal connector from west marine (expensive little bugger ($150), but looks good!). If you have any further questions, let me know.
