from another jet site.....
Hey guys just a heads up , apparently in the last week over 6 boats ( alum ) have been stolen in chilliwack alone . These guys got balls or no brains one or the other, they are going into peoples back yards and actually pulling the boats out into driveways etc then they let them sit for a bit to see if any action then POOF there gone , hitch locks etc , dont seem to slow them down , they came after my Boulton cut the chain and lock and were gonna hook up , but got scared off , daughter was in house and phoned RCMP , but here's the kicker , hour after cops came they came back , this time my 6 foot 8 inch son was hookin up to boat to take away , so they didnt get it. RCMP figure the jetboats are either being sold or cut up , the smaller alum's they are cuttin the boats up and sellin outboards for cash. I came home from workin on the island and cut my trailer reach and welded in a foldable reach hinge with a removable pin so now there is nothing to hook too . Mayb slow them down we"ll see .
Just wanted to let you guys know , we worked our asses off to get these boats , dont want to see some lowlife get them the easy way
Take Care

i live in fsj and had my boat stolen out of my backyard 3 1/3 yrs. ago.they cut the the locks ,off loaded up ,and were gone.my neighbours saw nothing.cops did nothing, even when i got a tip through friends as to where it was.best thing that could happen to the thieving bastards is a shallow unmarked grave.oh yeah boat was uninsured to boot. |

Was your friends tip helpful? Did you ever get it back? _________________ It's always the Navigators fault! |
