Picked up my new motor. Can't wait for summer. Should be testing in a month or so. 408 ci, sbc, all forged bottom end, H-beam rods, full roller cam (custom grind), roller rockers, Dart pro 1 aluminum heads (platinum castings), Edelbrock air gap, AED 750 carb, MSD pro-billet ignition. 485hp @ 5500rpm, 523 ft/lbs @ 4700rpm.

A. R. thanks for posting the pick of my boat. Still got a little sorting out to do concerning the oil cooler plumbing but I'm getting pretty close. Unfortunately the boat will have to take a backseat for a little while. Air conditioning season is ramping up and so is the offshore fishing season. Speaking of horsepower the boat that I'll be running offshore this year is a 2005 model 56' Post sportfisherman with Mans twin diesels, 1400 hp each. Boat will do over 40 knots with the throttles on the pins, but I think that would be burning around 200 gals per hour (yikes). Got to get some fresh tuna.
