T-stat

Run in 0" to 3' sandy/silty water with a sand filter on inbound side. No problems in 4 years.

I was thinking right after I posted that thread...90% of the user's are racer's and probably have a setup up far from a normal housing and tstat in a closed cooling system.I guess my main question was if anybody had anything good/bad to say on those orifice's?

Thanxs for the link AR..it's alway's fun to check out other site's your not normally on.

I just run water from the outlet of the Jet Pump, into the oil cooler, and into the engine, with no thermostat, regulators, filters or anything that might make the system complicated. Just make sure you have two outlets on the thermostat housing or cover, and you're set.

If running a closed system, use a 180 deg thermostat and drill 3 small holes(about a one eighth drill bit) in the t-stat flange.Drill one at 12 oclock position,5 ,and9 abouts.Works awsome and eliminates vapour lock.
