I have a 2000 175 sportjet xr2. It runs great 99 percent of the time. I have changed the stator, trigger, voltage regulator, both cdi's, fuel Pump, plugs, I did all of this to ensure no problems this boating season. Now it just started randomly dropping around 400 rpms or so at full throttle. Drive for awhile then it comes back and works good for 2 trips. It's getting frustrating and I'm running out of ideas. It seems when it comes back it's when I've turned the engine on and off. At full throttle it surges like it's trying to get the rpm back. Any ideas?
