I am having a problem to remove the nuts holding the steering cable where it runs thru the hole on the side of the wear ring. Does anyone know how the steering cable is fastened at the wear ring, I'm trying not to get too rough with it, thanks |

There is a lock tab on the nut that you have to bend to free the nut.The nut is a 7/8 you will have to pull the cable back to get a socket on it if there is no room for a wrench. I welded a socket on a 9 inch piece of pipe that will slide over the cable makes it much easier. |
