Looking for advise/direction as to whether or not I could use the 6.2L V8 out of my totaled off truck in my jet boat that currently has a 5.7L Marine Power with a HJ212. Truck engine always well maintained.
Thanks,

yes the 6.2 would work but its likely entirely different then your 5.7. The 5.7 Is a small block chevy type of engine, the 6.2 is an LS series engine two very different engines, the only piece that will bolt up is your bellhousing. Your motor mounts, exhaust manifold and driveline adapter are all different, not to mention the wiring harness and ECU. But LS engines are very common in boats now so those parts are all readily available. _________________ Bulls Eye Enterprises Inc.
