I've had a look through the forum and can't seem to find much information about the different hulls for sport boats. Delta, step tech and tunnel. What are the advantages vs disadvantages of each. I have a delta and like how shallow it runs and it's ability to plane at low speed. |

In a sport boat the delta pad is the best for shallow water and heavier loads and boats. its does give up speed to get that though. The steptech is the next up more speed but it will take up more water with the same weight in the boat. Steptechs will rune very shallow but you need some speed to do it. they also tend to be quicker steering than a delta pad.Tunnel hulls do everything very aggressively. They will run shallow but you gotta have speed to do it they corner very hard but can get outta hand if your not careful. They are relly made for speed and thats where they shine. They are effected by weight heavely. _________________ Mark
