Gary and Andy Weaver lost their son Charlie on July 27th in a swimming accident on the Umpqua River at Elkton, Oregon. Charlie was 39.

Two memorial funds have been set up to honor Charlie.

The first is called "AWJA for Charlie's Lights" and has been established to get AWJA some electronic start/finish timing lights. You can contribute to this fund at any Umpqua bank under "AWJA Charlie's Lights".

The second is called "Charlie's Kitchen" and it's purpose is to improve the kitchen facilities for the Linn County Search and Rescue. It is also at Umpqua bank under "Charlie's Kitchen". This one will be the only one mentioned in the obituary.

Gary and Andy are a big part of the racing scene here in the US, they race SJ class in #08 Baby Bud and are the promoters of the Albany race. We are all concerned for them.
