Anyone (like Eagle hint, hint, hint) done any testing / have any results for performance of 240EFI vs the replacement 200 or 250 Optimax? Better results one or the other? Better "life", less problems with one powerplant or the other? The 250 is 42# heavier than the 240, according to the Mercury site, while the 200 is only 11# more. Does the weight factor play a roll??

One day the 240EFI powerplants are going to be gone. Rumor has it that they seem to be attracting scalper pricing. SJ racing will definitely be impacted. UIM rules only currently allow the 240. Need to start considering options for the "rules".
