I'm rigging my new race boat and have a few questions about steering. I have the old dual cable setup. But know there is nicer cleaner options out there...
Eagle
SSS
Mark Rodacker
Can I get some opinions? And maybe a price?
Thanks! |

The Eagle system works fine and has it's benefits but is heavier and more cumbursome.
The SSS system is a nice setup works well light weight and responsive. It's only real drawback is that it has to sourced fro NZ. Odd ball metric chain.
Rodacker or SMR setup is very close to the SSS but is available from Grande Prairie. The issue with it is that it was not available until recently. _________________ Mark

we have both the SSS and the Eagle set ups here.
SSS is lighter for sure, but like all cable and pulley systems more prone to failure if not looked after properly.
the heavier Eagle system in simple and quick to install and much cheaper. |

Dale do you have a pic of the eagle set up? Just curious on how it exactly works. I've been told but never seen it. Thanks! |
