Has anyone ever moved the fuel tank from under the seat in the back to better distribute the weight? Was thinking of putting two smaller ones under the front seats.

Just wondering did you build it yourself or was it an aftermarket?

The best place for a fuel tank is under the rear seat;it is above the center of gravity of the boat so the trim does not change with fuel load.Dual tanks always complicate fuel systems (especially with EFI).Rear tanks will cause tail drag when full; bow tanks will push bow down when full and boat will run wet.Belly tanks can burst if you take a good hit;plus you cannot build a
strong bottom if your center stringers are replaced by a fuel tank.

Thanks, I have a place diverter which I can use for trim adjustments however I think I will take your advice and leave it alone...since it ain't broken. In the past when I want to run lighter on the stern (for trolling etc...) I have simply run with less fuel. Probably will carry on with that as my solution. Thanks for the information
