Hi all.

I will be racing FX next year and want the best for myself and my navigator. I have been researching life jackets, helmets, suits, etc...

What is everyone's opinion on 'capsule suits' which seem to be the standard, vs. the high impact PWC jackets with leg straps they are offering now? I know of a few cases with each jacket doing it's job unfortunately.

What is everyone having good luck with as far as Bluetooth communication helmets go? I'm really leaning towards running a HANS device as well. Thoughts?

And finally, race suits. I'm thinking nomex suits are all rated similar, but haven't researched much for brands.

Anything I'm overlooking? Boat is rigged with NZ safety setup. Fuel shutoffs, NZ style roll bar, 3" Williams harnesses and Eagle seats, extinguishers, etc.

I'd rather be the safest than the fastest for the first year so our wives will let us race a second season.
