I was looking at a kodiak 3 stage without the nozzle reverse assembly and i noticed that the first impeller tips extend about an 1/8" past the wear ring. Is this normal? And if it is could you put it in a lathe and shorten the hub 1/8" on the inside face? it has enough clearance from the stator vanes.
Thanx Rob
