that looks like a real sick place to boat!! i just welded up some cracks in my hull under the engine mounts (how did this happen? Wink and i got a bevy of babes lined up for drinks and hot laps tomorrow after work. we should have some good squeals! you gotta make an engine cover so you can swamp it with repetition, always a passenger thriller!

That's FUN!!!

You seem to have learned pretty well how to "read" the river. But in the video you are always turning around! That would make some of the race navigators nervous...

Great stuff, keep posting it.

Wicked run!!! What do you figure is the shallowest spots you ran in that stretch? Nice wide river compared to some that we run up here!

Yea a few people have mentioned about me turning around alot. I guess its a few things, One I've had my share of things go astray with motors and I guess im a little paranoid still about that. Burned wires were a big issue late last season and I seem to have it licked but Im always checking that and the other thing is header issues. Im not yet happy with my water injection setup and am still tweaking(the problems are directly related really) Most of the time my passengers don't know what to look for lol
Last week for some odd reason I started having alternator bracket issues and it was flipping and spitting our belts like crazy so it seems there is always something to focus on once one fire has been put out. Last season it was frost plugs for sure but thats been solved too. Im getting close to having things how I want them so I can focus more on driving and tuning the performance of the boat. Its all a learning curve as Im sure you know

That river would have had to have been 3-5" in places. Its obviously really hard to tell when you're not really stickin around to find out haha
The lady at the ramp had just loaded their canoe on the roof of their car and saw us start to launch the boat. at first I thought she was gonna give me the real tree hugger speech but was really just concerned I didn't know how shallow it was. I assured her I was looking for that but I think she still thought we were clueless. Watching us back the truck 20 feet out into the water, tailpipe under and still having to drive the tunnel off the trailer while Mike pushed I think sealed the deal for most observers. We're legally insane lol

All that much more satisfying when we got thru those sections clean. I think in that whole bit we only clipped maybe twice. You can see me laughing like a lunatic after we pass the one bridge if ya look close haha
I want to go back and run that river alot further than we had time for. Now that I know where to launch should be able to make a good day trip out of it.

People always comment on the width but its a little misleading really, There ain't much of that width thats usable and I'd actually prefer it to be alot narrower, leaves you less options as to where you're gonna try to go(and less wrong channels) lol

Cheers
