Looking for something to stop gravel from hitting my boat and trailer. I have a set of rock tamers but it seems like the rocks hit the flaps and bounce back at the boat. Sounds weird but I sat in boat while going down gravel and watched it. Tried to add some angle iron into trailer hitch tubes and put another set of mud flaps on there and it seems like it throws more rocks almost like hits flaps bounces off road and back up. I can't be the only one what do you find that helps?? |

I've had good results with the brush type one that hangs off the hitch. The one I had was a little flimsy and I had to build up the brackets but It did seem to keep the rocks down. |

Go to 2:30 of this video and they show an interesting method of blocking rocks. I stumbled across this video and wondered if a guy could incorporate their design into a boat trailer somehow. Seems like a good idea _________________ Speed kills...wasted time |

Got a full guard that goes around trailer fender to fender across the front of the boat, welded to the trailer. Than has a mesh/screen that ties to it. Will post a pic when I get back off holidays. |
