The Canadian Boating Federation – Western Zone/ Jet River
Unlimited Jet Class – 300 Series Recommended Numbers (U300)
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Unlimited engine restrictions or modifications, any exhaust c/w mufflers
• Jet Engines do not require mufflers
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar (well mounted & braced) chrome moly recommended
“A+” Jet Class – 200 Series Recommended Numbers (A200)
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Engine displacement shall not exceed 470 cubic inches (7700 cc)
• Superchargers, blowers & turbos are allowed at 1.8 x cubic inch ratio
• Oxygenated Fuel Allowed
• Exhaust - any exhaust c/w mufflers
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar (well mounted & braced) chrome moly recommended
• Or/AMS Spec Engine, 565 cu in, No Oxygenated Fuel
• Or/US BBFX Class (502 cu in)
“LSX” Jet Class – 200 series Recommended Numbers (LSX200)
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Stock Crate Engine shall be GM LSX 454 part #19244611(620 hp version)No mofications
• No overbore, no sleeves, no grinding, no cutting, no filing, no milling, no porting, no balancing or engine modifications, no valve seat modifications, untouched factory heads only.
• modified cooling systems allowed, air/water bleed ports, can be enlarged or added, with or without water pump.
• Any oil Pan(no dry sumps or vacuum pumps allowed)any valve covers, any ignition or distributor
• Any intake or fuel injection allowed, intake modifications allowed, Any carburetor(s) No Oxygenated Fuel Allowed
• Repaired engines must use GM parts pertaining to engine.
• Exhaust - Any exhaust system allowed c/w mufflers
• Propulsion - jet drive
• Roll bar (well mounted & braced) chrome moly recommended
• Or/Old B-Class 366 cu in Motors, Oxygenated Fuel Allowed
“CX” Jet Class – 100 or 200 Series Recommended Numbers (CX100 or CX200)
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Stock Crate Engine shall be GM LS3 Engines 376ci CT525
• GM #19259233/525 Fuel Inj., GM #19271821/525 Carb
• GM #19244549/480 Fuel Inj., GM #19171225/515 Carb
• Any carburetor, or fuel injection engines, normally aspirated only
• Stock crate intake manifold with no modifications
• Repaired engines must use GM parts pertaining to engine.

• Engine – GM ZZ4 355 HP CRATE engine GM part number 24502609 c/w stock GM intake
• Repaired motors must use GM parts pertaining to engine.
• No sleeves, no milling, no roller rockers allowed, No porting, no polishing, no grinding, no cutting, no filing, no balancing, no port matching or modifications, no valve seat modifications, untouched factory heads only.
• any ignition system, Any oil pan(no dry sumps or vacuum pumps ), any valve covers
• Carburetor – 750 CFM maximum & 1” spacer thickness maximum 3 only 0.060 gaskets
• Exhaust – any exhaust system allowed c/w mufflers
• No Oxygenated Fuels Allowed
• Propulsion – jet drive
