Thinking next weekend that we might try camping and boating at the Smokey launch by the bridge east of GP. How are the water levels and is there enough room for 3-4 campers? Never run this part of the river before and dont want to wreck anything either if the water is too low.
Thx in advance for replys. |

tons of room for campers on the beach. River up stream is pretty good for at least 50 miles. 7 miles up stream you can take off and go up the Wapity also but it can be a little tricky if you have never been on it. Nothing to wreck your boat on but you could be pushing. Down stream pretty good for 30 after that there are a few large rocks in the middle of it. Not bad if you know the river. _________________ Mark
