We have recieved a great response from people wanting to help. Hats off to all of you.
At this time we have enough qualified jet boat operators for the task at hand.
Please do not attempt to navigate the Christina River. The River Is full and is producing some unbelivable hi-water and trecherous rapids approx 15 miles upstream from the confluence of the Clearwater. No attempt should be made to come down the Christina from any points above the narrows! _________________ Grand Rapids Wilderness Adventures

search is on again. water levels have receded.
Looking fo a couple of boats over the weekend to once again help in the search. We are only asking that any boaters that wish to join in. only travel as far as the confluence of the Christina up the Clearwater.
once again please contact Jordon @ 780 404-7751 (son of one of the missing man) They are camped at the Snye park in Ft. Mac and would graciously accept any boat help that is available. _________________ Grand Rapids Wilderness Adventures

not to hijack this thread but I must say that it is nice to see that asking the average citizens to help in a case like this actually takes place in Alberta. I have never seen a call for this kind of thing in BC, the S.A.R. groups here are a very "clickish" bunch. |
