I always thought the last one across the line at the end of the day was the runner for liquid refreshment. Could it be that I am wrong. Have a good race day and we will see you there.

Thanks Karey, you and Martin for sure next year. I still have to throw the pump back together tonite and pack the bags. Heading out at 4:30am tomorrow for Riggins, drive straight through & get some pre running in on Thursday. Were looking forward to fun & thrills of racing and meeting old and new fellow boaters.
Here's a pic of the winter project

Holy crap Richard. It didn't take you long to get the racing bug. And Elaine is your Nav. man/person/bride. Way to go and good luck.

Dave, I would certainly be up for it if it wasn't for my lack of dependability. I just don't know when I'm going to be home or at work.

Carey, are you sure about this? Are you having visions of grandeur? I was at the launch on Sunday and there was tons of ice.
Never mind I'll go tomorrow and check it out. Ya even if we can only go to ANC that would be cool.

Were here in Riggins, only 16 1/2 hours of driving. All checked into the room, patio doors open, second floor balcony overlooking the river. 17C outside. Beer in hand.
Ahhh...its going to be tough !!

I spoke too soon, the ice is out on the McLeod up river by the greenhouses, but must be jammed up at Noel's corner, as of last nite it was still solid under the bridge, probably have to launch down by the golf course, usally the boat launch takes a while to clear out

Carey, which one of your boats would be a better ice breaker? We could go and cut our own trail.

I was checking things on sunday, cant use the boat launch unless someone goes down there with a cat or hoe to move the ice out. Its still all jammed up by the golf course too. If you find a spot Karey, give me a call. DOC.
