So I run a 20ft step tec with a 383. Was running 68.4 at 4800. I that was with just a place diverter and a 6 degree up wedge. Put a 3 degree up wedge and a place diverter hp housing and the boat feels looser and faster bit GPS shows a top speed of 64.5. I would think loose and bow up ride would be faster but I guess not. Anyone have any insight?

try it without the 3 degree wedge, while it may be pushing the bow up, it may also be pushing the stern down more.
