A while back I seen a photo of some body's pump after they painted it and it looked good. Short of looking through all the threads, I was wondering if anyone knows a good paint that I can use. My pump is starting to look a little crappy and could use a little sprucing up.
Is everyone getting a itchy for spring boating yet?

Baldy, One of my bowls has the paint removed and it looks good, less maintenance too. You could even polish it to make it look even better.

I'm starting to get itchy to go boating, however this -30 weather doesn't help. Mad

Dave I used the same stuff on the pump parts as the hull and seemed to work really well and held up thru what I did to it this year. Anyway I belive Eagle used to paint their hulls with Endura epoxy and I would recommend it altho it is a 2 part paint and can be a pain. Trust me red does NOT cover well Razz

Cheers

It sounds kind of okified, but I used Hammerite on mine. It is about $10 a quart at Lowe's and can be applied with a brush. It goes on kind of thick but flows out very nicely and I am quite happy with the results. It has a variegated "hammered" appearance finish that hides imperfections and should touch up easily if needed.

That's the stuff right there. I'm going grab me a can of that and try it out.
Thanks,
