Guys,

Just got a new 16ft Lynx and love it!! It has hit a few rocks this year and is no worse for wear. One thing I did notice is the bolt heads on the UHMW are all rusty already. Is this normal or was it applied with the wrong type of bolt? Thanks

Rust is normal. Bolts are hardened carbon steel, so they get surface rust. Stainless steel bolts are too soft to handle the stress.
