| sounds like an idea , but what kind of shape is the river in ? dirty, debries, etc any locals ? what is it like, I heard they were releaseing the dam last week |

not to sure on the conditions, was going to camp for the weekend so figured it would be a quiet place for the long weekend.

Just got back from the Brazeau, went up the river passed the Black stone ? for about 15 minutes until we couldn't go any more because of uprooted trees blocking the channels. Other wise the river was good and minimal amount of floating debris on the reservoir. The road into Loop 1&2 was starting to wash out and they closed the campground on Sunday night. we had to relocate to the overflow area. They started working on the road repair Monday morning in hopes of being ready for the July 1 long weekend. I'd phone and check to make sure they are open in time.

Yes, directly across from the main campground is an area that the quaders (ATV's)use.
