I have an open bow E6 with a big block in it and I run mine on the Wapiti and the Smokey. A guy just has to be careful as the water gets skinny near the seasons end. These boats aren't rock crushers!

This boat has been great on the Wapiti River, you are right it's not a rock crusher, you can run in very shallow water with this unit. It has QT100 on the bottom for a reason. The bottom is very clean.
