So I´m posting, as it seems, the very first picture of a race boat in the forum!
It was about time my boat was FIRST on something.

Wilson-
Give us some particulars. What race, on what water? Who won? How were the placings? What were the times? How many boats? What is your racing schedule this year. Help "us" (me?) to know who the racers and their boats are in Mexico.

Ok. This was a flatwater circuit race we had just 30 miles north of Mexico City. There's an active hydroplane race promoter who invites jet boats to "fill the space" between hydroplane heats.
There were a couple of "A" boats; 3 sport jets and 6 FX boats. I don´t have the exact placings, but the winners were:
"A" Class: Rafael Pagés
Sport Jets: Javier Saravia
FX : Santiago Morate
About the schedule: The RIVER racing season will consist of 4 races:
July 2nd & 3rd on the Lower Balsas River
August 20th & 21st on the Bacalar lake
September 16 & 17th on the Cutzamala river
November 13th-18th(??)-The Balsas River Marathon
Probably one more race in Tampico will be anounced later on.
I WILL post pictures and more information as races develop. I will sadly miss the first one as I will be far, far away on that date.
