The three associations had a meeting last night( Whitecourt, Peace River and Grande Prairie), and here are a few things to note for the 2006 race season.

-A noise restriction was put into effect, so now all race boats must not exceed 100DB from 100' away. It is left up to the teams to take appropriate measures to stay below 100DB.

-No boat will be allowed to race without a Steel/Chromoly rollbar and 4 point or better seat belts.

-The classes remain the same as last year.

For more details stay tuned I will be posting the official 2006 UIM rules as soon as I get them.

A question for DAWG. When the World Championships come to Canada what are the chances we would see them in my front yard, here at LWPeace?
And by the way I like the noise-louder and prouder.

Grande Prairie race is June 17th.
Peace River race is July 15th & 16th.
With 3 races and 6 poker rallies its going to be a good summer. Very Happy
