Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that we have started a new jetboat club for the Edmonton & surrounding area. We are called the Capital Riverboat Association. It is our intent to further the exposure of this great sport by building a sustainable club in this region providing more venues to our Alberta jetboat scene.
I would like to invite you to our Inaugural Summer Poker Rally, on July 23rd, 2011. All jetboaters and manufacturers alike are welcome, hope you can make it out for a fun day on the North Saskatchewan River. We'll head up from Devon 38miles with a few stops, have a few back channels to offer and a BBQ dinner when we return. Bring your friends & family, lot's of prizes and fun to be had.
Don't hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions, look forward to seeing you on the river.

FYI - Had a few ask about the weather, and we're a go either way. But the good news is this rain crap is done tonight - 21C and sun shining for us tommorrow!!

Just Back from the Capital Riverboat Association 1st Annual Poker Run and Supper. The Weather held and a great time was had by all. Congratulations to the Winners and a Big Thank you to all who came from far and wide to participate. Thanks to the crew for putting up the tents in the rain(Friday night). Hope to see everyone at the next gathering.

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to our first poker rally. It was a lot of fun to put on, we had a wonderful time meeting many new boats & faces - and great to see familiar ones again  We had 43 boats attend and served up 138 Rib-eye dinners. Was great to see $1900 in Poker hand prize money awarded - and thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and for all the support and door prizes donated by many.
Hope you had as much fun as we did, looking forward to our next event. See you on the river
