I was wanting to build a small boat with a tough bottom and an EZ Clean. Something that would run skinny water and reach full plane quickly so here's what came out.
17' Eagle Sport, 16 degree staight through. Delta Bottom. 1/2" keel, 1/4" wings, 38" Teflon, E/Z clean. Bow hatch, Turbine Pump. 350 sbc.

Yeah, Nelsons was real close but was 20 degree. Had it out again on the weekend, Working good but still have a couple bugs in it. Best speed so far 62 mph down.

So the big question is....will it be the ultimate 'MANS' play boat? (350) Cool What do you think the engine wieght diff will be?

Still be able to lead the pack and try out skinny chanels while doin so? Does it slide around alot? Everyone want's 3 boats and that seem's to be a sweet one for the shallow. More feedback please, what kinda of trouble you having? There's a guy in the back at Outlaw that's pretty good with boats.... Wink

So far I love the boat, it handles great, runs skinny water very well. It doesnt slide but it is a Delta bottom so it has the hop in hard corners. It gets on plane real quick with the big intake. For weight I'd say it would have to be around 1600lbs. 45 gallon fuel tank. 355 ci , 390 hp. The EZ clean is definatley a perk too.
