ok long story so here we go i have a stock zz4 350, rpm air gap intake with a 2 inch 4 hole carb spacer, imco powerflow manifolds with open pipes, i was running a holley 650 double pumper and swaped the main body to the hp one witch i belive is a 750, it came with jets and accel pump squirters to set it up as a holley hp 750 dp, but i figured id run my old jets and squirters to have a decent starting point haha ran like ass dies out of the hole just about, i figure its way to lean now.
what do you guys with holley 750 hp double pumpers have them set up like jets and squirters with zz4s set up with similar intake and exhaust set ups, hope to get a good starting point for getting it dialed in or learn something while im at it.
thanks

I think a good starting point would be using the 750 stock parts , throw the 650 in the corner with all its parts in it.Phone outlaw they put alot of those packages together. Later. |

Hey Big Block, I was running a similar set up to yours recently. I got a 19 and I had a stock ZZ4 w/ a 750HP carb, stock intake w/ 1in spacer and Kodiak manifolds. After some playing around with the jets I settled on #73's on all four corners, if I'm not mistaken. Good starting point. That engine ran awesome. Go to the Holley web site and download the carb manual. It explains very easily how to set your floats, idle mixture, etc...
I wish I could double check but I sold that engine a couple months ago and I'm getting a new one built right now. Carb went to the shop... Everything else on that carb was stock. I dont think you need to play with the pumps or power valves.
We are going to have to get together once I get my boat running. Sounds like I might need some back up on the Bow if a war breaks out!!! |
