I hit a shallow spot I bust a pump part! Almost ready to ditch the reverse and diverter!! Just decided I need another reverse bucket about 15mins ago when I pulled out of the water. The last one still had lot's of paint on it still too. |

I hear ya man, I've been there, it get's expensive after awhile! I think you'd be better off running a race nozzle (less moving parts and junk hangin down), unless you use your boat occasionly for pulling tubers and skiers (race nozzle seems to bother them a little ). You could install a pump guard but probably wouldn't completely make it bullet proof but might help. My 2 cents. |

You must be running an American Turbin diverter . . . If you want to run a diverter, a place diverter works a lot better in the shallows.
They don't have that reverse gate crap hanging down. I've had mine on for five years now. After two AT nozzles it was time for a change . . .
Everybody back here runs Placediverter and nobody has broken any. And we slide gravel bars, jump logs and beaver damns . . . _________________ I refuse to join a group that would allow a person like me to be a member. |

Thanks guys....good info. I am ready for a change, because I can't keep replacing this shit every time I go out. Who the hell want's to stay in deep water.
AR...it is a AT. Buddy has a PD and his REV kinda blows, but he doesn't bust shit like me. |

Hey Chad, You would see a 3-5 mph gain with a race nozzle and more positive feel too. Them reverse buckets just sand lock anyway. |
