I am going to flip my boat over to install uhmw, and need to know if I can leave my oil injection and reservoir intact or will it bleed out. I have gutted boat including gas tank and battery. 175sj |

I would recommend pulling your powerhead out. its only 10 or 11, 15mm headed nuts and it will slip off. that way your boat will be lighter to flip and fuel from the carbs wont over flow into your motor and on your floor. |

Form what i have read the two materials contract and expand at different rates. i don't think i would want to rely on adhesive to hold UHMW on, even though they make some unreal adhesives these days.

Changed my mind on the uhmw. I'm going to go with the slip coat instead. Better choice for my style of boating. I think Some skinny, some bigger rivers and more hours in the salt water. |
