figured i'd go for a rip up the halfway today.never should have left the house.tore the drivshaft out of my truck climbing a hill on the way there.got the wife to come out with the other truck and take the broken one home in front wheel drive(wife not too happy).continued on. river shallow and fun.set up buddies new camera (lent mine out) and started taping.getting good footage.came down through an ugly back channel.turned to admire my trail and knocked brand new camera out of holder and into river.searched for camera.no luck.started to snow.decided to go home.short in wiring harness somewhere.lost all guages, power to trim nozzle, batery fried.snowing and raining harder now.sped up to get out of the weather and clipped a few BIG rocks(may have broke a couple teflon bolts).get to landing,no reverse due to loss of power to trim nozzle.manually loaded up and got the hell out of there.all in all an expensive 3hr boat ride. |

yup is very true just over a year ago now had my bush truck out for the last run of the season just had to go for that one last quick rip of the day so i ended up towing back at night, jack knifed my truck n trailer going down a hill the trailer and my bush truck went over, im still in the process of rebuilding the the thing, have not had that kind of bad luck with my boat but it sure has cut into funds for this past boating season thats for sure. |
