Anybody else on here from Southern Alberta? I'm thinking about sparkin' it up and take a rip on the Oldman today. Probably kick it off at the launch downstream from the weir at about 11 am. |

Do you ever get on the Bow? We go upstream from Johnsons weir every once in a while. Pretty nice trip.
We ended up staying home today anyway. The wind came up out of the west hard enough to hide most of the hull killers! (surprise surprise) |

Would have been there if not for the wind, We put in at the bowisland bridge on the Southsaskatchewan on friday went up to the forks and then went about 20some miles up the old man and 5 or 6 up the bow. Awsome day water was high fished for an hour or so at the forks and caught some nice walleyes. Did the City finally fix the launch in Leth? i put in there a couple weeks ago and it was still a silty mess but we did get in and out without any prob just had to wash the ton of mud off when i got home. |
