As a member of the Aquaholic race team, I would like to give thanks to everyone involved in another excellent race weekend in Whitecourt! As usual, a great time was had, fast boating was the rule and it was good to see the new teams out! There are so many unsung heroes when it comes to an event like this, but I would like to let the support boats know how much it is appreciated to see their presence, 40 miles out on a cool blustery day! The Whitecourt races are the best situated for viewing and have been at the forefront of making the sport "Spectator Friendly". Nothing cooler than coming around a bend in the river to see a bunch of fans on quads cheering on the boats as they go by! Not too sure about the sack moon from the gravel bar though, retina frying sight that was!
