I believe it was made in Oregon, but I can't tell for sure. Any comments about it?

It looks like a Doug Riddles weldcraft race boat from years back.

I'll look it up online to see if I can get any info about it. The boat is currently sitting in a warehouse near Mexico City...available for sale.

That is definitely a Riddle boat ( Weldcraft ). Not sure how much info you will find online as he hasn't built race boats for some time. I'm sure there are still a few people on the boards that have had them though.

Thanks Neutered. I'm trying to get some ingo on this forum as well as in the Whitewater Jetboat Racing Forum. I am considering buying this for the SBFX Class to race in Mexico for my first year of Jetboat racing ( I used to race outboard classes).
This boat was set-up with a ZZ4 crate engine and the current owner who is a good tech but does not race, claims to get 75 MPH GPS. He also claims it planes quickly and handles pretty well...
I wonder if this would be a good idea considering that I will probably rip the bottom out in no time at all.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks all for your help. I found Doug Riddle's company, e-mailed him, and he was kind enough to give me specific details about the boat. It is a lighter version of a 19' tunnel sold originally to someone I know. Now I have all the facts and I will probably give this boat a shot for this year's Rio Balsas Marathon.

This looks like Sergio Mostalac's old jet boat.

Wilson, you are right as usual. It was Javier Amtmann's originally.
