Jose Barquin and Estuardo Beltran are planning to come to the race from Mexico, the only thing is that they are going to bring their SP, so my question is: There is a Class for that boats this year?
thanks
Pepe

yes... we had planned to run a sport jet class. At present we have only 1 or 2 "maybes" for the class. The SP's would run as D class. It will be good to see Jose and Estuardo at the race, so we'll make something work.

Hello all Racers. This is the check list that I will be using for teching in Whitecourt. Please note the fire ext., ropes (rope with the float attached to the boat), flags and engine mounts. If your engine is 3 point mount, it has to have an engine restraint ie cable or chain to prevent engine fwd movement upon a crash. See you all in WCT.
2 paddles
1 3/8 x 50' rope with float device att. to hull
1 1/2" rope for towing
1 16"x24" red flag
1 16"x24" yellow flag
Engine restraints-3 point mounting
1 first aid kit
1 tool kit
2 5lb fire extinguishers
2 racing life jackets c/w leg straps
2 racing helmets
fuel tanks secure/grounded
throttle return spring
bulkhead/guards (if rotating parts are reachable when in seats
whistle
bail bucket
flame arrestor or breather
battery disconnect, 3"red triangle tape across from switch
fire retardant clothing
water outlets horizontal or downward
stop watch
roll bar
steering cables- center of hull or securely anchored
mufflers
4 point seat belts with quick release and tether connection between belt releases
belt cutter

If we show up with RCI camlock style 5 point harnesses would that pass tech inspection?
