Wilson-
Two Eagle Tunnels running FX! (Yours and Santiago's I think) There have been several posts and inquiries about tunnels in FX. How are they doing for you? Speeds? Handling? Do they really bleed off speed on you when cornering?
And how is the 7/16 stud "fix" for the stripped header bolt hole in the head working???

I have driven Santiago´s boat and it is very fast. However, on tight corners it doesn´t handle as good. Also, this boat doesn´t know how to go slow. If you decrease throttle to just above planning speed, it starts to jump. This boat was manufactured by Outlaw in or around 1993 and was a "one of a kind" sort of make. The tunnels in this boat are neither straight or angled, but concave. My boat is more recent model and yes, it sits down on corners, but not really much. There are very few tight corners in our races, anyway. Most of the FX boats down here are tunnels. By the way: our "FX" class is more similar to the "C" Claimer class they have (or used to have) in Canada, as it is not exclusive to a particular engine model, but rather a cost limited claimer class. (Yes, you can overbore a 350 engine to 360 and still be legal in Mexico, and yes, it is NOT as fair as I wish it was) The 7/16 stud on the exhaust is working great. It is actually easier to install headers when you have studs in the end holes instead of regular bolts. I was in the States last week and brought a heli coil kit for 3/8". Turns out that the thread you have to make is very similar in size to the 7/16", so I won´t bother on doing anything until the next thread busts. Here´s three more pictures: #15 Luciano and Antonio Blanco #397 Jose and Inigo Barquin riding high #140 Carlos Buitron and his wife, Ana Lilia Zepeda. Some of you might remember this boat that used to race as "Air Time" up north. Came up second in FX class.
