				| I've got a 502 Chevrolet stroker (454 iron block), with an Eagle crank, Eagle rods, SRP/JE pistons (10 to 1), Comp cam (don't know the exact specs on it), Crane 1.7:1 roller rockers, Merlin II rectangular port iron heads, Holley intake, Demon 850cfm carb. My question is which heat range spark plugs (NGKs) should I run in this engine?
I've got 4 choices ranging from a 6 (hottest) to a 9 (coldest) heat range.

				| I like AC's !
With a NGK, start with a # 8, always run as cold of a plug that will keep it's nose clean.

If it's long reach, it would be a B8ES. An extended tip would be a BP8ES.

				| AR thanks for the help! After cross referencing the NGK plug number myself (can't trust many parts counter people these days
  ), I came up with ACDelco plug number 438T ( NGK 5673-8 ),... I'll try these first. | |
