i have a sd309 power trim older model pump looking for hop up parts where is the best place to start?
running a zz4 stock but hop ups in the works for it to.

put a big block in it just kidin , what sort of boat do you have ? if your new to it you want to start by checking the condition of your pump. get a manual and pull it apart there fairly basic . if the thrust bearing, impeller and bowl are good and the wear ring clearance still tight , throw some HP at it

ya haha big block hey well thats the plan once i pooch the zz4, not use to small block power as it is but ill run it hard till its shot.

eagle 19 sport, so hp being said is there a max rpm for pumps before they cavitate or making revs mean more go?

BB, that's a pretty general question, what are you looking for? more speed, better hole shot, showing off? all require different setups

If you run high RPM, you'll have trouble out of the hole, it's kind of a progressive thing, I've run pumps at 7000 rpm for extended periods of time with about 700 hp with no troubles, tough out of the hole though.
