Arrghhh Maties!!!
Break open that treasure chest of ill gotten gain and spend a couple of gold coins on a few poker hands at the Whitecourt Spring Family Boat Rally & Poker Run.
This year we're setting the theme as "Pirates of the Athabasca" so dig out your peg legs, hooks, swords & eyepatches and deck your boat out pirate ship style! Oh, and don't forget the rum! There will be prizes for Best Costume and Best Decorated Boat so be creative!
Date: Saturday, June 14th
Place: Whitecourt Riverboat Park
Registration: 10:00 AM
Start Time: 11:00 AM
Route: To Chevron Bridge (Hwy 947) and back (53 miles each way)
Steak Supper: 6:30 PM
Registration Fee: $25.00 per boat (includes one free poker hand and 4 supper tickets)
Extra Poker Hands: $5.00 each
Extra Supper Tickets: $5.00 each
All boats must return to the boat launch by 6:00 PM for final card draw.
Lots of prizes to win!!!
$500.00 for 1st place winning hand
$300.00 for 2nd place winning hand
$200.00 for 3rd place winning hand
Prize for Best Costume
Prize for Best Decorated Boat
...and more!
As always there will be free camping down at the Riverboat Park on both Friday and Saturday nights.

Arrghhh this event actually falls on my week end off. I'll be camping there Friday and Saturday. I might be so elated and frisky I could poke a few eyes out, so bring lots of eye patches maties
