hoping to get a boat soon and one of the first post-purchase priorities are PFDs...
what do you guys like in brands and styles for recreational use?
i can see myself getting two "dedicated" jackets, a couple "passenger adequate" and a "skiers".
thanks,

For recreational boating, I would recommend the whitewater rafting/canoeing types, which have a lot of buoyancy and are comfortable enough to paddle or move around if needed.
Here's the link. I'm sure there's a lot of dealers in Canada:

My opinion is that you should ALWAYS use life jackets, specially in those freezing cold waters you Canadians boat around.... _________________ Wisdom chases me, but I´m faster |

that's ok...i'm pretty sure type III PFDs fit the legal requirements here.
not a bad lookin' vest...appears it could be rather comfortable, too(+1)...not sure about the elastic waist tho'. also looks like it could be stuffed somewhere without a fight.
i like it.
thanks for the reply. _________________ tired of lookin' at the water...i want to cut great, swathing holes in it! |
